Ardo Trends Safari & Expert Panel
We hosted a bespoke food trends and inspiration event for Ardo, one of the world’s biggest frozen food producers.
The London-based event was made up of two key parts:
A safari: We visited a diverse range of West London venues, introducing Ardo executives and family shareholders to relevant trends and consumer behaviours, as well as the most disruptive innovations in the UK and global market. We met founders and store managers to discuss pressure points and opportunities in the sector, and sampled flavours of the future first-hand to energize the client’s NPD pipeline.
An expert panel: we invited two experts to share their professional experience and thoughts on future food, answering the client’s key category-related questions. Nick Saltmarsh is a co-founder of Hodmdedod’s, which has been growing British pulses, grains, seeds and more since 2012. Nick and the Hodmedod’s team are working to try and increase diversity on farms and in the food we it.
Georgia Levy is a recipe developer, writer and chef, with a veg patch of her own from a young age and a wealth of experience in working for brands like Natoora championing wonderful produce. Both Nick and Georgia are pushing the plant-based agenda in different ways, and the session was particularly inspiring in terms of evolving diets, new produce varieties, radical flavour and sustainability.
The agenda fed both minds and mouths with inspiration to direct Ardo’s strategy and future innovation pipeline.
