Future Food Event at The Mills Fabrica
Our 2023 panel event in collaboration with The Mills Fabrica was a great success. Around 50 members of our industry community came together to attend the event and were treated to an insightful discussion and Q&A from our all-female panel.
The evening traced food innovation from soil to plate to reveal all we don’t know about plants.
Claire Mackenzie, producer of the revolutionary film Six Inches of Soil introduced agroecology and the transformative power of topsoil to fix the food system.
Ex-Natoora and River Cafe chef Georgia Levy discussed how her industry is transcending form and function with plant-based ingredients on the plate.
And Naked Biotics founders Leanne Weston and Amy Partridge explored the uncharted territory of the gut for optimum health and wellbeing.
It was a pleasure to moderate the session and have such an engaged audience ask so many great questions, with so many builds and discussion points from different sides of the industry and beyond.
We were delighted to have so many great food and drink partners, including:
Plant-forward canapés expertly prepared by Nourished Communities.
Yealands wine. A world-leader in sustainable wine-making.
Boatyard gin. Boatyard recently became the first certified Bcorp distillery in Ireland.
Fungtn. Brewing 0.5% beers with mushrooms.
Award-winning Citizens of Soil Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Other Foods snacking mushrooms, packed with nutrients.
