We were delighted to work with the iconic Dicksons brand - family butchers since 1953.

We carried out three key stages of work to support plant-based NPD.

An Insight and Discovery stage explored overarching development opportunities for the brand, tied to growing consumer demand for healthier and more sustainable food products. Informed by the latest market market data and research, this phase successfully created a detailed picture of the current and emerging category landscape to enable Dicksons to go after the right products at the right time.

A Concept Development phase then mapped out some clear routes and NPD suggestions, followed by more detailed paper concept work. We distilled all the preliminary work into actual product ideas for the in-house developer to produce kitchen samples including target customer, product attributes, relevant benchmark, flavour profile, ingredient inspiration, target RRP, packaging suggestions and creative inspiration.

The client was thrilled with the work, which has been successfully translated into new on-shelf products.
